Blues want to sign Belgian starlet Youri Tielemans
Chelsea could seek Eden Hazard’s help in the transfer market should he remain at Stamford Bridge in the summer.
The Belgian international could be asked to help secure the signing of Anderlecht midfielder Youri Tielemans, his international team-mate.
Tielemans has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League over the past couple of seasons, with both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur linked in previous transfer windows.
However, if the Blues can persuade Hazard to stay at Stamford Bridge, they could also ask him to lure his international team-mate to West London as well.
Tielemans has impressed during his time in Belgium with Anderlecht, and he’s already attracting severe interest from across Europe as a dominating and powerful midfielder.
Hazard Bait
According to reports, Chelsea officials have asked Hazard to have a word with the 18-year-old and want him to persuade his countryman to snub a move to White Hart Lane.
Spurs have even sent scouts out to watch the midfielder in recent games, but could suffer a setback if Hazard can persuade Tielemans to join Chelsea instead.
