Eden Hazard reveals he calls Chelsea teammate Cesc Fabregas “the master”

Eden Hazard has said calls teammate Cesc Febregas “The Master” and believes he is one of the side’s most versatile and creative players.

Fabregas has had to fight his way back into the midfield following the arrival of N’Golo Kanté last season, and is set to face even more competition with the summer additions of Danny Drinkwater and Tiémoué Bakayoko.

The 30-year-old has been impressive so far this season, but, Following a return from his suspension during Chelsea’s win over Everton, Cesc netted the opening goal, which means that he has both scored or assisted 14 goals in his last 13 Premier League games at Stamford Bridge.

And the Belgian midfielder has hailed Fabregas’s skill and believes that the Spaniard is one of the “brains” of Chelsea’s success.

“Cesc [Fabregas] is the master. I call him ‘The Master’ because he does what he wants,” Hazard told Spanish paper Marca.

“He can put the ball behind the defensive line, he can score big goals. He understands football very well.”
