Hazard believes Chelsea can win the Premier League title if Diego Costa nets more than 20 goals this season.
Eden is confident the Spaniard will be key for Antonio Conte’s even despite the 3-0 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates.
Arsenal stars Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil score in the win against the Blues, which ensured a dreadful afternoon for Hazard and Costa as they both struggeld to find the net.
“Diego is Diego. He’s a fantastic guy and a fantastic striker,” the Belgian told BT Sport.
“We need his mentality – he’s a winner, he just wants to win.
“He’s scored five goals this season already and we know it’s important – if you want to be champion – to have one guy who can score 20, 25 goals.
“Two years ago he did this and if we can do the same – we will,” he added.
Hazard believes Chelsea must turn their form around and win a trophy for the fans this season.
He added: “One good season is a season with trophies. It’s always like this when you play with the big clubs.
“Even if you don’t play good you need to win something. The fans are waiting for this.”
