Antonio Conte has said Eden Hazard’s knee injury is not serious
The Belgium International sat out Chelsea’s trip to Sunderland due to injury worries
Hazard has already netted eight Premier League goals for Chelsea this season and his return in form has been a massive difference from last season.
However, Hazard was not risked for Chelsea’s trip to the Stadium of Light on Wednesday night as a precaution.
But Conte moved to play down the seriousness of the problem before Wednesday’s game.
Conte is quoted as saying by Metro: “No, I don’t think [it is serious].
“For this game, though, he can’t play. There are no easy games, for this reason we must pay attention.”
