Eden Hazard to miss Sunderland clash

Belgium has had three wisdom teeth removed

Chelsea could have to end their Premier League campaign without their star-player as Eden Hazard is a major doubt after having three wisdom teeth removed.

The Belgium international, who has been superb for the title-winners this season, had to have emergency surgery on Wednesday after originally trying to delay the operation and it’s now left him a major doubt ahead of Sunday’s finale.

Hazard’s Absence

The Blues host Sunderland at Stamford Bridge and will then be presented with the Premier League trophy at full-time, but they may have to play without Hazard.

The PFA Player of the Year has had to miss an awards ceremony due to the surgery and it’s looking like he could miss the match at the weekend.

If Hazard does miss the game on Sunday, it would be the first game of the season he has missed.

The midfield maestro has scored 20 goals throughout the campaign and assisted a further 10.
