Two clubs now need to agree transfer fee

Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko has agreed personal terms with Roma, according to Sky Sports.

However, the two clubs have not yet settled upon a transfer fee for the Bosnia and Herzegovina international, who was limited to just 11 league starts for City last season.

Dzeko‘s current manager, Manuel Pellegrini, admitted last month that the player’s future could lie away from the Etihad Stadium.

The 29-year-old had dropped down City’s pecking order last term, following the arrival of Wilfried Bony from Swansea City in January. Dzeko’s pending departure from City would leave the Sky Blues with just two recognised strikers, in the form of both Bony and Sergio Aguero.

Dzeko signed for Manchester City from German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, for £27m in the January of 2011.

Roma’s Premier League Raid

Should he complete a deal to the Italian Serie A side, Dzeko will the become the second player to sign for Roma from a Premier League club this week – following Wojciech Szczesny‘s season-long loan move from Arsenal.
