With the strike partnership of Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo being one of the best in the Premier League, Edin Dzeko seems to be the forgotten man at the Etihad.
Manchester City have a wide range of talented players in their squad and players like Dzeko, may not be receiving enough playing time to convince him to stay at the club.
One of Dzeko’s fellow countrymen Miralem Pjanic, believes Dzeko could be close to leaving Manchester City due to the lack of playing time.
“Will Dzeko transfer to Italy? I’m in contact with him and I know he aspires to play more and feel more important (than now),” Pjanic told Sky Sport Italia.
“He is a great player and he could do well in Italy but for now he is a City player, even though I don’t know how long he will remain there.”
Whether Serie A will be Edin Dzeko’s destination is yet to be known, however Manchester City may not be his home for much longer.
