A FIFA agent and a close friend to Edinson Cavani has confirmed that the Paris Saint-Germain striker is wanting to quit the club in the Summer.

Francois Gallardo is a well known agent in the footballing world and it also a close friend to the striker, and he has confirmed that the reports about Cavani’s future being uncertain, are true.

Speaking in an interview, Gallardo admitted that the striker isn’t happy with how he is being used in Paris and does not appreciate being used as a winger to allow Zlatan Ibrahimovic play as the long-striker.

This news will give Jose Mourinho and Chelsea a massive boost as they are desperate to land a world-class striker, and they were fighting hard to secure Cavani’s signature before he left Napoli to join PSG last Summer.

Mourinho admitted that they couldn’t financially afford to sign the likes of Cavani or Radamel Falcao, but after hearing the Uruguayan is desperate to leave Paris, he may just reconsider and swoop for the 27-year-old this Summer.

‘There is a player of the squad at PSG who is not comfortable and wants to leave called Cavani,’ said Gallardo.

‘If clubs want to sign him – it would soon be time to make a move.’

It is believed that PSG want at least £50million for the Uruguayan international, who will be at this Summer’s World Cup and will face England in the group stages.
