Edinson Cavani wants price-tag lowered

Edinson Cavani is ready to tell Paris Saint-Germain to lower their valuation of him in order to push through a move to England.

The Uruguayan striker is currently valued at ÂŁ50million by the French giants, but it’s believed that none of the Premier League sides are prepared to meet that valuation, leaving Cavani stranded in Paris.

The 27-year-old is currently being played on the left under Laurent Blanc, a position he doesn’t want to be playing in, and he is now ready to force through a move away from the club, with Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea all previously linked.

Cavani has been strongly linked with a move to England in recent years, and it’s reported that he would like to live in London if he does move to the Premier League, putting Arsenal and Chelsea in pole position to land the Uruguayan.

It isn’t clear whether PSG will drop their price-tag for Cavani, as they look to make the money back from the David Luiz transfer.

The French champions spent ÂŁ50m on the Chelsea defender in the Summer and due to Financial Fair Play, they have to balance their books out.
