Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery would not give much away when asked whether he’d be open to swapping Neymar for Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Real are thought to be desperate to sign Neymar this summer, with PSG touted as one of the few clubs in world football who could afford Ronaldo, and a swap deal could make sense for the two clubs.
Ahead of PSG’s trip to the Santiago Bernabeu, reports from France have claimed that a swap deal is on the cards.
Emery would not confirm nor deny if he wanted Ronaldo to join him in Paris, he confirmed he’s happy with having the former Barcelona attacker on board.
“Well, this can be a difficult question to ask or an easy one, depending on how you look at it or how I want to answer it,” he said in his pre-match press conference.
“I’m delighted to have Neymar.”
