Emmanuel Emenike eyed by Spurs and Arsenal

Fenerbache striker Emmanuel Emenike could be the subject of a transfer battle between North London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal in the January transfer window.

Emenike joined the Turkish giants in 2013 from Spartak Moscow, and has founed the net 13 times so far in 31 appearances in Turkey.

Tottenham have so far been uninspired by Roberto Soldado since his big money move from Valencia, and with Emmanuel Adebayor’s inconsistency it could make Mauricio Pochettino look at a move for the Nigerian international.

Arsenal signed signed Danny Welbeck recently to fill the forward position, but with Olivier Giroud out injured until 2015 it may force Arsene Wenger to look for alternatives come January should Welbeck suffer from injury or poor form.

With Fenerbache rating Emenike at around ÂŁ15 million, it would be a good price to sign the 27 year-old who will soon hope to hit the peak of his ability within the next couple of seasons, so may be worth the gamble for either of the North London sides.
