Liverpool will not sell star forward even if Real Madrid come calling.
Liverpool have no intention of selling Mohamed Salah this summer and will robustly turn away any unwanted interest in their talisman.
The Egypt international’s incredible debut season at Anfield has taken him into the bracket of top players and he has been linked at times with Real Madrid, ever since head coach Zinedine Zidane expressed about what he thought of Salah at the Club World Cup last December.
Salah signed a four-year contract, worth more than £100,000 per week, when he moved to Liverpool last summer and Real would have no hesitation in offering him dramatically increased terms if they were given any encouragement that there was an opportunity to buy the 25-year-old.
The English giants have already lost Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona in the January and are adamant that Salah is critical to everything they are trying to achieve and there is no figure that would persuade them to let a player whom they signed for £39.6million leave.
Enquiries for Salah, who has scored 36 goals and is a contender to win the PFA Player of the Year award, will be dealt with firmly and emphatically told he is not for sale.
It is Jurgen Klopp’s intention is to build on what he already has at Anfield.
