Jose Mourinho has said that no English teams will make it to the UCL final this season.
He has also predicted that the final will be played between Barcelona and Juventus.
Former Manchester United and Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has predicted that none of the English teams will be able to make it into the final of the Champions League this season. The Portuguese mastermind has also said that the final of the competition would be played between La Liga giants Barcelona and Serie A champions Juventus, which means that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo would face each other in the Grand Finale.
Speaking to AFP, Mourinho said, “Juventus and Barcelona are the two great candidates for the competition and will reach the final.”
He added, “All they talk about is [Cristiano] Ronaldo and [Lionel] Messi but I prefer to talk about Juve and Barcelona. I will always be a football coach and football continues to be a team sport. Juventus and Barcelona have experience, talent and a special player each. There are these special players, the teams end up becoming the best.”
