Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has dropped a massive hint that striker Luis Suarez could still be on his way out of Anfield, after telling fans to ‘enjoy him whilst he’s here’.
The Uruguayan forward was adamant on leaving the club in the Summer, with Premier League rivals Arsenal keen on his signature.
However, after having two bids rejected, The Gunners failed with their pursuit of the 26-year-old and he is now scoring for fun at Liverpool, like he has done all his career.
Despite rubbishing reports linking him with Real Madrid, Suarez’s team-mate and close-friend, Steven Gerrard, is worried that the club could lose their star and he has warned fans that the future may not contain Suarez.
“I think everyone knows how much I rate him,” said Gerrard.
“I think we are very lucky to have him and we have to enjoy him while he’s here.
“For me he is one of the top four or five players in the world for sure.”
