Dead wood at Anfield set to be shipped out
Liverpool outcast Jose Enrique could finally be about to leave Liverpool, with several clubs contacting his agent concerning a summer move.
The Spaniard has made just 3 appearances for the Reds this season, and his contract is expiring at the end of June.
He has admitted that he is ready to leave Liverpool as he knows he isn’t in Jurgen Klopp’s plans, and says that several clubs have contacted his agent concerning a summer move.
When asked by Marca if any teams have shown an interest in securing his services, he said: “I don’t know if they have presented any offers.
“But I think that various clubs have contacted my agent for next season. I focus on playing.”
And when asked about his current situation at Anfield, he added: “Right now the coach is not counting on me.
“But I find myself very well physically. I am in the perfect conditions and I know that I can have my opportunity.
“Within four or five years I don’t know, but now I find myself like when I was at my best level. If I cannot play here, I will do it somewhere else.”
