Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have completed their fourth major summer signing today as they captured Toulouse’s Etienne Capoue after the Frenchman passed his medical at the club and agreed personal terms.
Capoue has made 174 appearance for Toulouse, scoring 13 goals in the process. The 25-year-old has also won seven caps for France and can also play as a central defender.
The Frenchman joins Brazilian midfielder Paulinho, who signed from Corinthians, Belgium winger Nacer Chadli, who came from FC Twente and Spain striker Roberto Soldado, who arrived for a club record fee of £26m from Spanish side Valencia.
The arrival of Capoue means that current Spurs midfielder Scott Parker could be on his way out of White Hart Lane with Championship side Queens Park Rangers close to agreeing a £2million move for the 32-year-old.
