It’s good news for the Reds…
The agent of RB Salzburg star and Liverpool target Emil Forsberg says that there is no guarantee that his client will be staying at the club this January.
The newly-promoted German side are second in the Bundesliga during the winter break, after just one loss so far this season.
Forsberg has been instrumental in their success, scoring 5 goals and creating 9 others so far this campaign.
And that has attracted the interest of German Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who has sent Anfield scouts out to Germany to to watch the player, who first came to the Liverpool chiefs attention over two years ago, during his time with Borussia Dortmund.
RBL boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has stated that, with his side challenging for the European places, he doesn’t expect to lose any of his players this month.
However, Forsberg’s representative has refused to commit the player’s future to the German surprise package.
“I have already been in meetings with major clubs regarding Forsberg,” he said,
“One must not forget that RB are also becoming a big club. They have done fantastic, fighting for the title and heading towards the Champions League.”
