GPS tracking of effort in training is the reason behind Ozil’s absence from the first team, the latest reports are confirming.
GPS tracking which checks how much work a player has done in training has been stated as the reason behind Mesut Ozil’s absence from Arsenal.
Earlier Emery had said, “I am thinking every time the best players for the match. When I decided he isn’t in the squad it’s because other players deserve it more. What does he have to do? Continue working. Sunday we have another match. We are going to decide again.”
“When I decided he shouldn’t be in the squad it’s because I think other players deserved it more,” Emery said, as reported by the BBC. “He needs to continue working. Tomorrow we have training with the players who didn’t play, and on Sunday we have another match – and we are going to decide the same.
“Our target is to win on Sunday against Bournemouth and we want to carry on our same way in each match.”
Raul Sanllehi echoed Emery’s opinion. “There is nothing against Mesut on the contrary and I hope we get to see him much more in the next games because his qualities are without question, but he needs to contribute 24/7 and that’s what Unai expects from him.
“It’s not that he’s not working so well, but there are others who are deserving more playing time, but Unai can’t treat him differently than any other player.
“You may have read that Unai has put a barrier up, but nothing at all like this has happened.”
