Chelsea are on the verge of agreeing a deal for Shakhtar Donetsk star Alex Teixeira.
The Brazilian playmaker, 26, has netted 10 goals in ten games this term.
A deal, in principle, is thought to have been agreed by the Blues.
But one person unaware of any deal is Shakhtar manager Mircea Lucescu.
He says that if an agreement is reached, Teixeira would leave with his blessing.
“Teixeira and I are talked a lot in the press now,” Lucescu said. “At the moment there are no official proposals. So it makes no sense to talk about it.
“If there is an offer that will satisfy both the player and the club, I will fully support his move. I want to see my players perform in the best, top teams in Europe.”
The Premier League champions are currently sitting in 14th place in the table, any hope of a successful title defence having long since ended.
