Chelsea winger Christian Atsu is having a medical at Newcastle United ahead of a proposed move to the Championship club.
The Ghana international is set to join the Magpies on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent move.
Since joining Chelsea in 2013, Atsu has embarked on three separate season-long loan spells at Vitesse, Everton and Bournemouth.
