Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma insists he is happy at the club, with Lazio reportedly keen.

The Italian club want the French international on a loan deal, and with Euro 2016 approaching, he is looking to gain as much action as possible.

But he seems to be getting it in West London, having made as many appearances already this season as he did in the whole of last term.

He has gained a fair share of first-team minutes despite being in competition for places with the likes of John Terry and Gary Cahill.

And Zouma is adamant that he is not in a rush to leave.

He said: “I am very proud to be at Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“I’m very happy and feel I have improved a lot. In 2015 I had a lot of chances to play, played in some big games and won two titles, so I am happy with the year on a personal level.”
