According to MEN, Chelsea and Manchester United will go head-to-head to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi.
The France international is reportedly unsettled since the arrival of fellow holding midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak.
And the rumours suggest that the 29-year old is ready to hand in a transfer request to force a move to the Premier League.
Chelsea look the favourites to sign Matuidi, as Cesc Fabregas continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Matuidi will allegedly cost clubs around £35 million.
