Everton are the favourites to snap up former Ajax manager Frank de Boer after he revealed that he is leaving his role at the Amsterdam club.
The 45-year old admitted that he wants to try “something else” after Ajax missed out on the Dutch title to rivals PSV Eindhoven, but also refused to rule out taking a year-long break from football.
De Boer has been cut to as little as 1/2 by the bookmakers to replace under-pressure Everton boss Roberto Martinez.
