Armando Broja, a forward for Chelsea, has been loaned to Everton for the 2024–25 season. Under the terms of the agreement, there is a £30 million option to make the relocation permanent the following summer. After submitting a transaction document before the 11 p.m. deadline, Everton had until 1 a.m. to finalize the transfer.
Although he only played for a short time for the Cottagers, the 22-year-old spent the second part of the last campaign at Fulham before returning to Stamford Bridge this summer. Numerous Premier League teams had contemplated a transfer earlier this summer, and Monaco had expressed interest in the Albanian international.
Despite appearing to be the frontrunner, Ipswich’s recent promotion crumbled after a botched medical examination, and the negotiations could not be revived. An option to extend the agreement into a permanent agreement for approximately £30 million is reportedly included in the relocation to Goodison Park.

After spending three loan stints at Vitesse Arnhem, Southampton, and Fulham, Broja, whose contract with Chelsea expires in 2028, has never returned to the Blues. “After following Armando’s journey for several years, we’re delighted to have been able to bring him to the club,” stated Kevin Thelwell, director of football at Everton.
“Armando is still a young player who has already built up some impressive experience, but someone we also feel has lots more potential to be unlocked.” Manager Sean Dyche of Everton is hoping that the acquisition of Broja, when he is healthy, will provide their attacking style some much-needed potency, since the team has yet to score a goal in the Premier League this season.
