Hazard and Chelsea are both struggling with poor form this season

Belgian winger Eden Hazard insists he and Chelsea are working hard to end their poor run of form in the Premier League.

The 24-year-old has been linked with an ÂŁ85 million move to Real Madrid, however, his recent form may have put off his Spanish suitors.

Hazard has failed to score in the Premier League so far this season, having won PFA and FWA Player of the Season awards last campaign, as he guided Chelsea to the title.

However, the Belgium international has come under criticism this season and has also been dropped by Jose Mourinho.

“I need to train and try to forget everything and be a better player.” Hazard said.

“We try to speak about it together. The communication is very important. We know when we are in a bad way we need to keep going with communication.

“People are sad when you don’t win but the communication is very important and we did very well because every day we spoke together, and this is good.”

Hazard ignoring the headlines

Despite his link with the Spanish giants, Real, Hazard is solely focused on regaining his form of last season and helping his side climb back up the table.

“In a good moment or in a bad moment, we are professional. Personally I don’t read the newspapers. I try to focus only on my football and win games.” Hazard continued.

“We need to keep going in training; we want to improve together and just want to win matches. We know the season after you are champion, it is difficult as everybody wants to beat you.”

Chelsea are currently 15th in the league and 14 points shorts of pace setters Manchester City.
