Rostov striker Sardar Azmoun has admitted that he would be interested in a move to Liverpool.

The 21-year-old enhanced his reputation with goals against Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid and the Liverpool Echo claim he has caught the eye of the Reds.

Dutch pair PSV Eindhoven and Ajax are also thought to be keen on Azmoun, who is remaining coy about his future.

When asked about a potential move away from Rostov, he said: “Ajax, PSV or Liverpool? I have not received any offers.

“If there are, then I’m going to take my time to look into it, whether it’s come from Liverpool or other clubs.”

Last month, Azmoun’s agent, Mehdi Hagitali, claimed that the player was solely focused on continuing his career with the Russian club, but refused to rule out any potential move.

“I read about the interest in Sardar from Liverpool, but I can say that at present there have been no formal proposals from either foreign or Russian clubs,” Hagitali said.

“His main goal is to become the best striker in the Russian Premier League.

“But if some proposals come, we will look at them.”

The Iranian international signed a two-year deal in the summer.
