The defender finally makes the switch to the Etihad Stadium
Everton centre-back John Stones has joined Manchester City for £47.5 million.
The England international has signed a long-term six-year contract at City, keeping him at the club until at least 2022.
Rumours emerged that the move was complete this morning, as Stones’ name appeared on City’s Champions League squad list.
And those rumours proved to be true, with the 22-year old being handed the number 24 shirt.
