The winger admitted that he wanted to leave Old Trafford
Manchester United forward Adnan Januzaj has joined Sunderland on a season-long loan.
The Belgium international links up with his former United boss David Moyes.
Januzaj also joins ex-teammates Donald Love and Paddy McNair, who both joined the Black Cats from the Red Devils on permanent deals.
The 21-year old has got his wish of leaving Manchester, after Jose Mourinho left him out of his first-team squad.
However, the BBC have claimed that Januzaj would have preferred a permanent move instead of a loan move.
This loan spell is his second away from the club, following his short loan spell at Borussia Dortmund last season.
