Manchester United offer deal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Manchester United have made their move for one of the most talismanic players in world football, and offered a one-year deal to Zlatan Ibrahimovic,  according to reports.

Swede Ibrahimovic recently announced that he would leave Paris St-Germain when his contract would expire, and speculation has been rife about his future for some time.

He has not yet decided where he would go when his contract was up.

Clubs from all around the world, including China and the United States, have all expressed their interest.

One team where we know he will not ply his trade is LA Galaxy, the MLS club unable to sign him due to restrictions.

United have been linked with him for a while, and today the club have seemingly made their move.

Reports from French outlet rmcsport claim the Red Devils have offered Ibrahimovic a one-year contract, with the option to extend it to a second.

One stumbling block could be the reports than Zlatan wants assurances on who is the manager at Old Trafford next season, as well as the amount of playing time.

Jose Mourinho is hotly tipped to take the managerial reigns at Old Trafford, and he does have a little experience of working with Ibrahimovic, having been together for one season at Inter Milan.

It would have been a sensational signing anyway if United could complete this deal, but with the club unable to offer Champions League football next season, it would be all the more unbelievable if he does put pen to paper.
