Speculation regarding the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been doing the rounds for a few weeks now, and today we may have come a step nearer to knowing what his next move will be.
The Swedish superstar took to Twitter to announce: “June 7th 2016 marks the start of my new project. Stay tuned at a-z.com.”
Ibrahimovic’s contract at Paris St-Germain expires this month, and he has been widely tipped to hook up with Manchester United, and their new manager Jose Mourinho.
Zlatan, currently preparing for the upcoming European Championships in France, has no shortage of potential suitors.
“There will be a big announcement on the 7th June.” Zlatan told @fotbollskanal “It will be this summer’s big bomb.”
“It feels good, feels better than good. A lot will happen with this news, so hopefully you’ll all enjoy.”
This could yet be a ploy by the Swede to promote his new clothing brand, due to launch on Tuesday.
But sources claim that he will soon be heading to Old Trafford, possibly on a one-year deal.
Sweden are reportedly allowing the star to leave their training camp to complete any deal, on a day off from their preparations.
