Mauricio Pochettino Thinks It Is Not Fair To Compare Mo Salah And Harry Kane

Mauricio Pochettino feels Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah cannot be compared as both the players are quite different from each other.

Tottenham Hotspur are set to host Liverpool in a much anticipated clash which could set the future course of action. Liverpool come into the game on the back of a slender 2-1 win against Leicester City while the North Londoners suffered a jolt as they were outclassed by a superior Watford in the last match.

Salah edged out Kane last season in the race to the golden boot and the onus will be on the latter to blazing all guns this season. Both the players have scored two each and it remains to be seen whether they can add to their tally or not.

Kane is expected to lead the charge against a jubilant Tottenham while Jurgen Klopp will rely on Salah to get the better of Spurs.

Pochettino said, “They are two completely different players.

“One is more a player that plays on the side, but now is a little bit playing inside, but he’s a winger.

“But both are complete players. I don’t want to say anything against one or the other or just because Harry is my player, I am going to praise Harry and kill Salah.

“The difference is obvious. They are different in the way that they play and how they act on the pitch. But I think both are very good players.”
