Thiago Silva could head to England
The agent of PSG star Thiago Silva has refused to rule out a potential move to Chelsea for his client at the end of the season.
Silva’s contract is set to expire this summer, and he could be released as a free agent and free to move to a club of his choice.
The 32-year old is regarded as one of the best centre-backs in world-football, but negotiations on a new deal are not currently taking place as things stand.
Paulo Tonietto – Silva’s representative – said,
“Chelsea are a big club. And the English league is the best in the world,” Tonietto told Sport Witness.
“We’re not negotiating a new contract, let’s see what happens before December.
“Thiago’s deal ends on June 30th 2017 if PSG don’t qualify for the Champions League. Everything is possible in football,” he added.
