Odegaard joined Los Blancos in 2015.

Martin Odegaard‘s agent, Kent Karlsen, has revealed that the young Norwegian looked up to Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
“Martin studied Messi when he was young, he tried to imitate his movements, passes and vision,” Karlsen told Cadena SER. “Messi is the best player in the world, but when you see Odegaard play you can see things from that learning process and study that he did when he was little.”
Martin Odegaard is having a superb season with Real Sociedad. In 26 appearances this campaign, the Norwegian has bagged 7 goals (including three in Copa del Rey) and provided 8 assists. Besides, the Erreala will play in the Copa del Rey final.
The Real Madrid loanee will most likely come back to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer to wear the Los Blancos’ shirt once again.
