Eden Hazard came back from his injury after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

The Real Madrid star was on the sidelines for close to three months having last played for the Galacticos back in the month of November in 2019.

Real Madrid’s new number 7 had a tough start to life in the Spanish capital. He arrived for pre season 7 kilos overweight and never really took off until the injury put him out of action completely.

The former Chelsea star who is used to being the centre of attention wherever he plays, has not done well at a club like Madrid where he has had to adjust his game to fit into the team.

However, playing after a long time yesterday, Hazard felt he has done well.

“I felt good,” Hazard said in his post-match interview, according to Marca.

“The first 10 minutes I was tired, but as the minutes went by I felt fine.

“I’m happy with my performance, but not with the result.

“I hope we’ll improve in the next few games.”

Real were stuck to a 2-2 draw against Celta. The result saw their lead at the top reduce to just a point over Barcelona who won over the weekend.
