The Whites intend to get rid of Gareth Bale, who has performed below expectations this season and are in need of a key player to replace the Welshman. They have come up with two options: Kylian Mbappe and the Egyptian attacker. While Los Blancos’ interest in Mbappe is well-known and widely discussed, they consider the €300m asking price off-putting.
Hence, Real Madrid have turned their attention to Mohamed Salah. The report goes on to say that Mohamed ‘does not feel comfortable at Liverpool’. That’s because he has already lifted the Champions League trophy with the Reds, the source explains. The player is simply getting tired of winning. Liverpool are also open to the idea of selling their best players. The 27-year-old Reds winger has a €150m release clause and Florentino Perez is willing to pay the whole sum.

In fact, Man Utd legend Gary Neville has recently claimed that Mo Salah is using Liverpool as a ‘stepping stone’ to Zidane’s side or Barca. “I think there’s a feeling that he wants to go and play at Real Madrid, he’ll go to Barcelona, he’ll make the big move,” Neville said on Sky Sports.
