BATE Borisov 1 v 1 Bayer Leverkusen

Both sides missed a big opportunity to go second in the group as they played out a 1-1 draw in the early kick-off.

Gordeichuk blasted the home side ahead within two minutes, the perfect start for the vocal home crowd.

But the visitors pressurised heavily, and it paid off with 20 left to play when Admir Mehmedi grabbed an equaliser.

Barcelona 6 v 1 Roma

Barca trashed Serie A side Roma as Lionel Messi grabbed his first goals after returning from injury.

Luis Suarez also bagged twice, with the in-form Neymar grabbing another goal aswell as Pique who finished one off from close range.

Ex-Manchester City man Edin Dzeko scored a consolation in added time for the visitors.

Group F

Arsenal 3 – 0 Dinamo Zagreb

Arsenal kept their qualification hopes alive with a convincing win at The Emirates.

Mesut Ozil headed the Gunners ahead just prior of the half-hour mark, just four minutes later Alexis Sanchez made it 2-0.

Joel Campell killed the game off with the third goal in the 69th minute.

This results means Arsenal travel to Olympiakos next month needing to win by two clear goals, or by a one-goal margin  of they manage to score three times.

Bayern Munich 4 – 0 Olympiakos

Bayern Munich secured top place in Group F with a game left with a 4-0 trouncing of Olympiakos.

It wasn’t the greatest start for the Germans when Holger Badstuber was given his marching orders early on after bringing down Brown Ideye outside the box.

Douglas Costa, Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller and Kingsley Coman all struck as Bayern strolled to victory.

Group G

FC Porto 0 – 2 Dynamo Kiev

Dynamo Kiev pulled off a huge win in Portugal as they stunned hosts Porto.

Andriy Yarmalenko put the visitors ahead with a penalty in the first half before ex-Real Madrid man Iker Casillas blundered to allow Derlis Gonzalez to double the lead just past the hour mark.

Maccabi Tel Aviv 0 – 4 Chelsea

Chelsea cruised to the top of Group G with a comfortable 4-0 win over 10-man Tel Aviv.

Gary Cahill opened the Blues scoring before Tel Aviv centre half Tal Ben Haim was sent off just before half-time for kicking Diego Costa.

Chelsea stepped it up a gear later on, Willian scored another set-piece with 17 left to play, his fourth set-piece goal in five Champions League fixtures.

Oscar and Kurt Zouma also scored late on to kill the game off, a big win for Mourinho’s side.

Group H

Zenit 2 – 0 Valencia

Zenit continued their perfect Champions League record this year with their fifth win in five fixtures.

15 minutes in Oleg Shatov put the home side ahead neatly, and as Valencia struggled to get a good grip on the game, Artem Dzyuba finished off a team-move to leave Valencia’s spot in the last 16 thrown in to doubt.

Lyon 1 – 2 AA Gent

Lyon were dumped out of Europe as Gent scored deep in to injury time to condemn the French side to the bottom of the group.

Jordan Ferri initially put the home side ahead just seven minutes in but Danijel Milicevic got the visitors back on level terms before half-time.

Genk delivered a killer blow to the Ligue 1 side in the 95th minute when Khalifa Coulibaly popped up the grab the winner.
