Papy Djilobodji one of many players set to be axed by Guus Hiddink

Chelsea defender Papy Djilobodji is set to leave England with Besiktas showing interest in the player.

Djilobodji joined the reigning Premier League champions in the summer from Nantes for ÂŁ3million.

Unfortunately the Senegal international has played just one minute of football in the League Cup victory against Walsall.

Early Exit

It is clear that Djilobodji is frustrated at the lack of opportunities given and could be set to a move to Turkey next month.

According to reports, French outfit Marseille have also shown an interest and would offer the defender a route back to France.

Former manager, Jose Mourinho claimed he didn’t want to sign the defender but was bought as backup when Chelsea failed to lure Everton’s John Stones.

Guus Hiddink will take charge of his first game on boxing day against Watford, knowing they need a win if they are to salvage anything from their league campaign.
