Big Sam has spoken!

Sam Allardyce, the manager known for making controversial comments and saving clubs from relegation, has spoken out against two of the best managers in the world.

Liverpool, under Klopp, and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are known for being the best teams in football – in terms of philosophy.

However, Big Sam has made a big claim against them saying that they play long balls much like other English teams. The reason they are not called out is that they are foreigners. However, he did praise the quality of the long balls played by the Reds and the Citizens.

“Liverpool play long ball very well indeed from right to left, and very quickly,” Allardyce said. “But nobody will say Liverpool play long ball.

“You wouldn’t hear Martin Tyler saying it because it would be frowned upon.

“You’ve got to be careful about saying they play long ball. But that’s the way it is. They play long ball exceptionally well and better than anybody else. And that’s why they do it.”

City and Liverpool have collected record points over the last two seasons and are by far the best teams in England and probably in Europe now – maybe that is why nobody complains Sam!
