Midfielder hints at Juventus exit
Chelsea could be set to surprise the footballing world with an incredible Juventus bid.
Andrea Pirlo at Stamford Bridge? surely not. Well, recent reports appear to suggest that Chelsea are interested. The newly crowned English champions missed out on Pirlo during Carlo Ancelotti‘s Stamford Bridge tenure, and could make a bid again this summer.
Pirlo ready for new Challenge?
According to The Metro, the Italian veteran will leave the Serie A heavyweights this summer despite him having another twelve months on his current contract.
Pirlo himself is focusing on all things in Turin. Having bagged himself another league title medal, he is looking forward to the Champions League semi-final with the mighty Real Madrid.
Midfielders Hints at Exit
The 35-year-old told AS: ‘Ending my Juventus story by pocketing the Champions League would be a dream come true. But I won’t stop playing. I’ll go on as long as I have the same great desire to keep training every day.
‘But I wouldn’t go to another Italian team. Juventus will be my last Serie A team, whatever happens. MLS could be an idea but for the moment, I don’t have anything. Juve are the only thing on my mind.’
Premier League Move?
World Cup, and twice Champions League winner, Pirlo is one of the world’s best, he just doesn’t seem to age. Most of the top teams in the world would snap him up, even just for a season or two.
Could he be coming to West London? Only time will tell, but what a mouth-watering prospect for the Premier League if he does.
