The full-back has had a rewarding campaign

Bournemouth right-back Adam Smith has today signed a new four-year contract with the club.

The new deal will see the 25-year old remain him with the Cherries until at least the 2020/21 season.

Smith helped Eddie Howe’s men win the Championship title and promotion to the Premier League last year, before scoring two goals and making 22 appearances in England’s top flight this term.

He becomes the second Bournemouth defender to put pen-to-paper in as many days, after centre-back Steve Cook signed a three-year deal yesterday.
