It is the start of another transfer window and Newcastle United are once again caught in the middle of a torrid time.

The club has suffered a lot in the transfer windows recently with players leaving but no quality player being bought due to the club owner’s unwillingness to loosen the strings. The Newcastle United fans have already written an open letter to their club owner urging him to spend something of significance in the transfer market.

They however, have a new problem in place with their striker Isaac Hayden readying himself to leave the club. The player has long wanted to leave for family reasons ans his stance has not changed. “It’s unchanged and the club have known that from day one,” Hayden said. “It wasn’t going to change. My family, my partner and daughter will always come first. Football is football, but family is more important. The club have had conversations already. Hopefully a solution can be found. It wasn’t in the summer, but I was professional and got on with the job as I have to do.”

If Newcastle end up losing their striker, they will find it tough to replace him given Mike Ashley’s attitude towards the club.
