Last night’s Chelsea versus Watford match proved to be a cracker with the Blues edging the Hornets 2-1.

The Pensioners won courtesy of an Eden Hazard double who played as a false nine. Things however, could have been different for the Hornets had they not lost their star defender Kabasele halfway during the first half. The player rammed himself against the post while trying to keep an effort from Willian out of goal, which he did.

The injury did look serious with the player getting substituted and then later getting stretchered off with an oxygen mask from the stadium during the match. However, Kabasele has calmed fans today morning via a social media post saying that it is not as serious as thought out to be and he is hoping to return as soon as possible.

This was his message. “Good morning everybody. Hopefully nothing broken but still have big pain. Great gesture of the goal post who visited me at hospital. Thank you for your messages I hope to be back as soon as possible.”

The player will look to get back quickly with a pile of fixtures awaiting the Christmas period.
