Jose Mourinho appears to be losing his influence over the Chelsea locker room, according to reports.

The reigning Premier League champions are reeling from a disappointing and turbulent start to the season.

The lie in 16th place, with a gap of ten points to leaders Manchester City. The Blues have only won two of their first eight league games.

The row between Mourinho and ex-physio Eva Carneiro also left a dark cloud over the club. Carneiro was sacked last month, and is considering legal action.

Also, the Portuguese boss has been given a vote of confidence by Russian owner Roman Abramovich.

Now, according to the London Evening Standard, Mourinho is unhappy with three of his players.

Oscar, Nemanja Matic and Cesar Azpilicueta are all said to have irked the Special One. And other Blues players are reportedly unhappy with the treatment of the trio.

In recent weeks another trio: defenders Gary Cahill and Kurt Zouma, and Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas had come out in support of their manager.

Mourinho this week received a ÂŁ50,000 fine and one-match suspended stadium ban for his comments following the 3-1 loss to Southampton earlier this month.
