Manchester City’s star young forward has opened up on the hardships of life in the English Premier League.

The English League is known for its physicality and pace and many technical players have been known to fail here due to these reasons. However, Jesus feels his injuries are not an impact of him failing in England. “The defenders are strong and good, but both times I got injured, I was alone,” Jesus said. “So that I think is more difficult. When you are injured alone it’s because maybe you don’t work hard. I like English football. It’s good. It’s very strong and competitive.”

Speaking about his strike partner, Sergio Aguero, Jesus only had words of praise. “Sergio is a good guy,” Jesus said .”I like him. I like his football. He is a legend for City and I’m learning a lot from him.”

The striker duo has been excellent for Guardiola but Jesus has recently missed a lot of game time after stringing up multiple injuries. City will want to have him back firing as Aguero remains the sole striker in the team and City after today’s defeat have fallen 7 points behind league leaders Liverpool.
