Out of favour A.C Milan front man, Carlos Bacca will likely be joining Liverpool this January.

The Columbian international was rumoured during 2015 to be off to the Reds before negotiations broke down. Carlos was expected to be making a move to English football during the last transfer window, however he decided to stay and fight for his place the San Siro.

If Milan cannot attain champions league football they will face financial difficulties.  Spanish newspaper AS list Liverpool as one of Bacca’s suitors.

The Reds are looking for a potential replacement for Daniel Sturridge who is being linked heavily to West Ham as Bilić looks to sort out The Hammers striker woes.

With the jury still out on Robert Firmino’s ability and long term viability as a striking option for JĂĽrgen’s Liverpool, a move to sign Carlos Bacca makes perfect sense.

Signing with Liverpool is very enticing for Bacca, who is said to be craving Champions League football after his unsuccessful stint at A.C Milan. Liverpool sit comfortably second in the table and are looking to push forward and become a serious title threat by the end of the season. European football of the top flight is plauisble for Carlos if he were to join.

Bacca would offer Liverpool a physical presence up front that they lack and with players who ooze quality such Coutinho and Lallana at his disposal, Klopp can afford to give Bacca the run of games he notoriously requires before becoming a world class goal scorer without jeopardising their title hopes.

Other potential moves to PSG or the Chinese Super League are on the cards, however Liverpool are tipped to be favourites to capture the forwards in demand signature.

The move is expected to cost the Merseyside club ÂŁ20M and ÂŁ60K a week in wages.
