Gunners star not called up

Arsenal star has not been called up for Germany’s upcoming international games next week.

The Gunner will miss games against San Marino and Italy, after being rested by manager Joachim Low.

The playmaker has been in excellent form in recent weeks, but has been rested by Low as he takes the opportunity to look at others.

And it has received the full approval of Arsene Wenger,

“I think that would be an intelligent decision and I would welcome the decision,” Wenger said on Thursday.

Former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry has been called up to the senior squad for the very first time.

It’s reward for his impressive performances at the Olympic Games, where Germany Under-23s won silver in Rio, and since his return to the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen.
