EFL semi-final against Chelsea, a possible final against Manchester City, two ties in the knockout round of 16 versus Borussia Dortmund.

These are the crucial ties Tottenham Hotspur‘s main man, Harry Kane is set to miss. He has been officially ruled out with an ankle injury until March.

The injury happened in the dying seconds of the match against Manchester United when the forward was fighting for a lose ball against Victor Lindelof and Phil Jones. He ended up damaging the ligament in his ankle and Spurs went on to lose the match 1-0.

The worst fears of Tottenham Hotspur fans have now been confirmed with Kane set to miss at least till March.

The English club were having a decent recovery after a slow start to the season and were close to being title challengers at the end of last month. Now they are slipping away in the title race with two defeats since then in the league. Things could get worse for them as without Kane, they are not the best equipped team up front. Their only other option is Fernando Llorente.

Is this the end of the road for a Tottenham team who could have achieved so much? For all we know, lack of success this season might lead to them losing out on Eriksen and Pochettino in the summer.
