Porto star close to leaving for the Emirates
Spanish football expert Kike Marin expects Porto striker Jackson Martinez to join Arsenal this summer.
The reports are great news for Arsenal fans, who will be glad to see further quality added to their side, with Alexis Sanchez joining last summer, and proving to be a big success.
There have been reports about Martinez’s future for some months, and it looks like Gunners boss Arsene Wenger may have won the battle for the Colombian international’s signature.
Martinez got what it takes?
Marin tweeted: “@Arsenal Alberto Bueno goes to Porto… and Jackson Martinez goes to #Arsenal? The reports are very good. Wenger decided…”
However, despite bagging 81 goals for Porto, since joining the club in 2012, can he do the same in the Premier League?
It is understood Porto want a fee in the region of £30 million for Martinez, who is at the peek of his career.
Arsenal surprised many with the signing of Sanchez last summer, having proven a vital part in their season, and Martinez could add extra quality to help the Gunners push for the title next season.
