Reports in Italy yesterday claimed that the Argentina international was on his way to Serie A champions Juventus.
However, the son of Napoli’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis has insisted that the rumours were a hoax.
When speaking to the fans of Gil Azzurri, Edo De Laurentiis said: “It’s just a hoax, you mustn’t believe everything.”
