FOUR Arsenal players could miss Liverpool game

Arsenal host Liverpool in their opening game of the 2016/17 Premier League season

Euro 2016 is set to affect Arsene Wenger’s team selection for Arsenal’s Premier League opener against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.

Attacking midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil are set to be rested, after both reached the semi-finals of the Euros with Wales and Germany respectively.

Whereas centre-back Laurent Koscielny and striker Olivier Giroud will need a longer rest, after they reached the European Championships final with host nation France.

They will face Portugal in the final on Sunday 10 July. The game is set to be played at the Stade de France, Saint-Denis; kick-off 8pm (BST).
